About me

I’m an award-winning travel and lifestyle writer living in London. I’m one half of the team behind the all new Domestic Sluttery. Originally launched in 2009 as a lifestyle website, with a book of the same name published in 2011, Domestic Sluttery relaunched in Autumn 2016 as a daily newsletter and now reaches thousands of readers every lunchtime.

My works has appeared in The New York Times, Style Magazine, The Times and The Sunday Times, BuzzFeed and The Guardian. I’ve worked on editorial projects for Dazed, House of Fraser, MADE.COM and Secret Escapes as well as writing a couple of books. I read a lot of books, too; I’m halfway through an MA in Modern and Contemporary Fiction at Westminster University.

I’ve very nearly finished editing my novel, about three women living above a wool shop in post-war London and I’m working on another non-fiction book with my wonderful writing partner Laura Brown. I’m represented by Jemima Forrester at David Higham Associates.

If you’d like to get in touch, email me or shout at me on Twitter. Tell me you know somewhere that makes really good piña coladas, that gets my attention.

I took the photo of the elephants scrapping in my header but photographer Conor MacNeill edited it and made it look marvellous.
